SoundStep XL underlayment can also be used with radiant heat systems such as QuietWarmth, for an extra warm and cozy floor. Crosslink foam will absorb sound and keep it from traveling to other rooms, making click-together/floating floors sound solid underfoot. The attached vapor barrier protects the overlying floors from damage when installed over concrete, but it’s also great over wood subfloors.
